I am an Integrative Humanistic Counsellor based in Swansea. I work in Swansea, in the South Wales area and online. I grew up in Swansea but I lived in London for twelve years, working in creative industries, and then returned to my home city in 2020.

I started my therapeutic training in 2020, during the global pandemic, when I decided to pursue my interest in helping work. I have always been interested in philosophy, social connectivity and self-development. I think this is because I am a natural introvert, deep thinker and a sensitive person.

I have received therapy before and I was part of a secure and helpful therapeutic relationship with my counsellor for many years. I am inspired to create a similar service for others because it was so beneficial for me. However, It wasn't until I started my training that I realised how little I knew about the service that I was receiving. I didn't fully understand what Humanistic Counselling was, which is why it is my goal to make sure all my clients are informed and happy about the service I'm providing.

As a counsellor, I work in a creative and intuitive way. It is my aim to build a genuine, open and honest relationship where the conversation is equal and without judgement. I use my hands when I speak and express myself using my emotions and often working with images. I am invested in my clients and I care deeply about how helpful the process is for them.

I have particular interests in therapeutic writing, play therapy with young people, artistic therapies, working with identity crises, bereavement counselling and existentialist worries. However, if this doesn't sound interesting to you that doesn't mean that we couldn't work well together!

Not all counsellors are the best counsellor for you. We are all humans doing the best we can to connect.
